Questions & Answers

The questions people ask before they start.

If your question isn't here, the fastest way to a real answer is the free Career Assessment, or just reach out.

It's recruiter-led career advisory for experienced professionals, covering your whole search. Not just a resume rewrite. Not just LinkedIn. Not generic advice or one-size-fits-all solutions. We identify where you're headed, what you bring to it, how you get in front of the right people, and how you close. Every piece of it comes from someone who spent nearly two decades on the hiring side of the table and treats your search like the business problem it is.

Not in the usual sense. I don't do mindset work or help you "find your purpose." I give you actionable, recruiter-informed direction on the real search. Deciding what's next. Sharpening what you bring to it. Getting in front of the right people. Closing well. You move faster because you're not guessing anymore.

Experienced professionals in transition: recently laid off, leaving the military, long-tenured at one company, pivoting industries, quietly job-hunting while employed, or returning after a career break. The free Career Assessment points you to the path that fits.

Standalone à-la-carte services run $250 to $2,500. Everything is listed openly on the Programs page, no "contact us for pricing."

Eight weeks of one-on-one meetings with Whitney to start, then three live office hours a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) with email access between sessions. Yes. If you just need one thing fixed, the à-la-carte menu includes a Resume Audit ($250), a live Resume Rebuild ($650), a live Mock Interview with feedback ($650), and the A-to-Z Job Search Program ($2,500).

It's a free Career Assessment. You answer a short set of questions and get a specific read on where your search stands, what it means, and the single best next step, whether that's a program, a standalone service, or a free resource. No sales-call trap.

Yes. This is a national practice with clients from coast to coast, and everything runs virtually.

That's one of the most common situations. A search you run while employed has to be discreet and deliberate, and it's a different operation than a full-time hunt. There's a dedicated path for exactly that.

Live on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Exact times are shared when you enroll in the Advisory Room. Bring whatever's happening in your search, an interview, an offer, a reply you're not sure how to write, and we work through it together in real time.

Because many of the people who need this most are between jobs when they find it. Paying $500 a month makes expert advisory accessible at exactly the moment income is uncertain. You can pay in full at $4,500 and save $500. Either way you get 36 months of access.

It depends entirely on your target role. If you're earning $100K+ and a stalled search costs you an extra few months of income, the math is obvious. There are $10,000+ programs that assign you to a consultant you've never met, and outplacement firms that charge $15K-$25K. Cheaper options exist and some are fine, but most are mass-market video with no recruiter actually looking at your search.

Quick Start Live is for the experienced professional who doesn't yet know what they don't know and wants the groundwork laid so they can run their own search. You join four live classes, one a week, on your resume, interviewing, networking, and the mindset side of a search, with live questions at the end of each one. There's no membership, and you can come back to any class for 90 days. If you decide the Advisory Room is the right next step, the full $1,000 credits toward enrollment within 60 days.

Not sales calls. If you have a question about which service level is right for you, we can schedule a short conversation after I review your Career Assessment results. That conversation is about fit, not pitch.

My deepest expertise is in deep-tech, robotics, drones, unmanned systems, and defense-adjacent sectors. But the underlying recruiter logic travels across industries. If I don't think I'm the right fit for your niche, I'll tell you directly, and often point you toward someone who is.

The Advisory Room has a 7-day satisfaction guarantee, provided you haven't accessed the on-demand materials. À la carte services are non-refundable once work has begun. If you have questions about what's covered before you commit, just ask.
